Three new apprentices have started this month with Rotolok, the Tiverton Head Quarters of the valve manufacturer.
Daniel Tapp, Rotolok’s Production Manager is delighted with this year’s cohort and said “We are placing increasing emphasis on our apprenticeship scheme and realise that bringing through youngsters who are keen and interested in our engineering activities is vital to our ongoing success. After a comprehensive recruitment process, Hamish, Ben, and James have done really well and impressed. It is a few years now since I completed my apprenticeship and I know what a big step it is from education into the workplace. I’m sure the training and opportunity here at Rotolok will be embraced by our 2020 intake”.
Rotolok will be exhibiting at The International Powder & Bulk Solids Conference & Exhibition from April 27-29, 2021 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The biennial show is the largest gathering of processing suppliers in North America, and we look forward to meeting customers both old and new to discuss valve applications from conveying plastic pellets to metering hemp. Rotolok will be participating at the next edition of PAINTINDIA which will take place between the 12th – 14th March 2020 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. Since its inception in 1983 the biennial show is seen as the pioneering and premier coatings exposition in the Indian and sub-continent region. Rotolok India are looking forward to meeting customers both old and new to discuss valve applications, weighing applications and other bulk solids handling requirements.
Rotolok Australia will be exhibiting at the Bulk 2020 expo between the 1st – 3rd April 2020 at The Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Our general manager in Australia, Nathan Fowle, and our Global Business Development Manager, Julian Walker, will be in attendance and are looking forward to meeting customers both old and new. Here at Rotolok we are constantly improving our Stainless Steel product offering, both in terms of quantity and quality.
Following recent major successes in the market place and the increasing demand for Stainless Steel products we have now begun investment casting some of our smaller Stainless Steel Rotary Valve bodies.
Rotolok has been manufacturing equipment for over 40 years, the quality requirements and expectations needed to ensure the equipment is made to Rotolok’s high standards, whilst embracing current codes & practices and associated legislation, requires continual improvement, which is a fundamental requirement of the ISO 9001 standard. To this end, Rotolok has recently attained accreditation to the updated ISO 9001 standard, ISO 9001 : 2015.
